Scope of Work:
Falcon provided comprehensive engineering consulting, assessment, and design services for the complete reconstruction of the parking facilities at a multifamily residential community. The project included full pavement replacement, stormwater management system improvements, and site hardscape enhancements to improve functionality, regulatory compliance, and long-term performance.
Work Included:
- Pavement reconstruction: Performed engineering assessment, design, and construction administration services for the full-depth reconstruction of the asphalt pavement system, including replacement of the underlying base materials where required.
- Stormwater management system retrofit: Designed and permitted a comprehensive retrofit of the existing stormwater management system, including the incorporation of water quality treatment features such as an exfiltration trench to satisfy current Miami-Dade County and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements. New hardscape features: Designed new pedestrian walkways and paver sidewalks throughout the property to improve site accessibility and pedestrian circulation.
- Retrofit of garbage enclosure: Designed the expansion of the existing refuse enclosure to accommodate larger 40-cubic-yard waste containers. Improvements included the design and construction of a reinforced rigid pavement pad capable of supporting heavy truck loading and maneuvering operations.
Role: Engineer of Record (EOR) and provide Construction Administration Services.
